i live in the south midlands, and on terrestrial tv i get central news + weather ,but on digital tv i get thames valley, what is going on, i dont want thames valley news + weather, is there any way to change this or am i stuck with it .????

because its not worth giving it house room,,terrestrial is tripe and sky not much better,,repeats of today ,,today,,of today and yesterday,,,are you fed up with skys program planners,,,or is it a total lack of planners

at present I think the london local news is carried on Freeview, that applies irrespective of where you live...... it may be different in Scotland or Wales, but it is the same in the North West of England

it may change when the 'switchover' ie turning off of analgue occurs. it may just equally be something the Beeb has forgotten. Mind you give the London focus of most in the 'Mejah' then it may not have crossed their tiny minds that its a problem

You will find out how different it is when they swich the terrestrial off, you wont have a picture, those with digital will does this answer your question or are you totally stupid......

I think you're stuck. BBC pay Sky to carry all the regional broadcasts, so you can get your local news on satellite. ITV don't, so all you get is the London programmes
