I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis as well. Reiki Is very good for pain. It's not a permanent fix, but you can get treatments on a regular basis And get relief.

You could also try deep tissue massage therapy. That helps me tremendously with the pain. And if you have access to a Jacuzzi that would benefit your body.

I have written an article on Fibromyalgia and it also includes things that you can do for yourself to help the pain without drugs. The article is too long to place here so I have enclosed a link where you can read it.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Best wishes,

Reiki has been used successfully to alleviate fibromyalgic pain and sometimes arthritis, It does not take the cause away, but brings relief to the whole body.
It is an energy based healing form and with the conditions you describe, you might like to find a group of Reiki practicioners who meet to share their enegy and are usually more that willing to work together on someone in need.
You should know there are many people who practise Reiki who believe their ability to help others increases as they use their enegy freely.
Then there is the so-called $10,000 club made up of people who spent that much money to become Reiki Masters. They will charge for their services. That's the mini political part of Reiki.
Reiki was developed from many energy healing forms by a Japanses doctor in the late 1800s, early 1900s, I believe.
Reiki involves directing energy through healing touch to stimulate your own body's chi, or life energy. It doesn't matter where the energy is applied, it goes to where it is needed.
And if it doesn't completely work for your body, it will certainly work for your emotional well being. You may have to do it on a regular basis, but rather than try to convince you of what Reiki can do for you, I'd suggest you find people in your area who practice it and give it a try anyway.
