find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Give it 3 or even 4 months. That way you won't be discouraged on bad weeks. The best thing to do is work out at least 4-5days each week, drink 8 glasses of water each day, and eat no more than 1500cals each day. Do NOT eat less than 1000cals each day or your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose anything!! (1500 sounds like a lot, but it's easy to go over!) You should lose 2-5lbs each week, possibly more the first couple weeks. Hope this helps!
(Uh, yeah and "Dr. Whatever", who answered below? Simple math. If she loses about 3lbs each week for a little over 2 mos.. Say 10weeks. What's 3x10?? Duh.)
You can do it hon!

You are trying to lose almost 30 pounds in 2 months.
Realistically, you can't do that.
Any weight loss that is over 2 to 3 pounds per week is not heathy or sustainable.
If you are losing more weight than that, your body is in starvation mode. You will lose the weight, but when you begin eating normally again, you will put all the weight back on, plus a few extra pounds so that your body has a cushion against future starvation periods.
This is the reason that people who go on fad diets constatly get fatter and fatter as time goes on. Each time they stop their diet they gain more weight.

2 ways.
Control food intake.
Burn what you eat.
Sleep by 10 PM, up by 6 AM. Go for a walk. Don't drink soda. Avoid icecream. Eat veggies. Eat only when hungry.
Practice Yoga. Eat fibre rich food for good bowel movement.
Avoid snacking between meals.
Breakfast at 8, Milk, cereals (fibre rich)
Lunch at 1. No meat, only salad and bread. (Heard of Souper Salad, Dallas metro has lots of them, where are you at)
Dinner/ Supper at 7 or 7.30, Light and not stuffy.
No other snacks meals.
Exercise / walk a lot. Ride a bike 10 miles a day at 10 MPH or more.

Just watch what you eat, and go walking every day 20-30 minutes! I had the same problem when i was your age. That is almost everyone's chunky stage! Don't eat junk, sweets and cokes.
