find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Weight Loss 4 Idiots is a pretty good site to start at. it has a lot of good tips and information. they have this diet tool you can get that analyzes your stats and gives you a pretty easy to follow diet that isn't that different from what you usually eat (in my case). it works well, but i really don't like the fact that they say its made for " idiots".

If the fat is around your cells, simply exercise will slim you down. If the fat is inside of your cells, you need a good eating plan to make it. If you feel tire easily during excerise, your fat is inside of your cells. in that case, exercise alone won't work. Press on your leg above the ball of your feet. If it takes a long time for your skin to get back to your normal color. You are puff with water, or just puff i don't know how to say it. but in that case, you need a eatting plan too.
