Check with your physician and yur pharmacist, they can tell you if they both have the same composition.

I was told by my physician a number of years ago that medications taken for epilepsy and/or seizures need to be carefully monitored. Sometimes the switch from brand to generic can be made smoothly, sometimes not. As with many things, it all depends on the individual.

No, not wise. Generic drugs are not as powerful as the name brand meds and sometimes you don't even get the right amount of med in the pill. My specialist told me this and insisted that I stay on name brand,not generic for epilepsy.
