You're both obsessed and stupid. Most likely your "obsessing" over him because of the challenge, and that you don't want the crush to get the last word. You're being stupid because you want to be with a person who treats with you no respect like a piece of scrap. The choice is yours. Have fun.

Dunno. I have a crush. He doesn't hate me and we get along pretty good, etc. ;-). He called and e-mailed me for about two years and I barely even knew he existed at first. I shouldn't have let myself fall for him, but I got to know him, and all of the sudden I fell head over heels for him. That's when the red flags popped up and I should've bailed. But I didn't. He's not emotionally available, but he's not married. I feel obsessed, stupid and in love and I can't seem to break out of it with this one. I don't think that's much help to you, but I know it's hard for your heart to listen to what your head is telling you! BUT, if he's abusive to you, emotionally, physically or mentally, then you really need to think about yourself and move on.

hmm.. maybe it is the challenge that you like. The idea that if he hates you 99% then that means there is this 1% chance that if you do the right things, at the right time, the right way, he will suddenly see the light. Its exciting, like the idea of winning the lottery.

well, 1 you are NOT stupid and don't listen to anybody who says you are.
You have an attraction to this guy, that's normal for all of us. My ex-boyfriend won't talk to me but i want to kiss him more than ever. I think you miss him, and that's why you're still thinking about him even thought he appears to dislike you.
Find a new man, girl, this guy is truly not worth it.

do a few things, see if it works- don't talk to him, don't call him, when you see him somewhere just avoid and go out of his sight, don't talk about him. cut all the connection related to him, your sudden aloofness could make him curious, and he could talk to you. and if he doesn't try to forget him.
