I would like to have some special alone time with my fiance. I was thinking of a cabin in the woods for a weekend. After careful consideration I decided this probly wasn't the best idea. I want a cabin whereas hed want good ole fashion sleeping in a tentin eating half raw fish. Plus the plans i had didn't exactly involve much hiking or swimming. It wouldn't be worth the price to be cooped up in the cabin all wkend. So I've been thinking and came up with an idea that I'd now like ur opions on. how would a quiet night alone here at home (we dont live together and dont get to c alot of each other usually) starting with a candlelit dinner followed by a bubble bath with candles then spend the rest of the night in front of the fire on a blanket in candle light doing whatever wed like. Is this too chick like? should i throw him a steak then rip off my clothes? realistically what do men really want?

Wwhy not pick up a tent and some sleeping bags?Move all of the furniture out of the room, if you can.Put the tent up inside and zip the sleeping bags together.Buy some stuff at a sporting goods store, like a camp stove, lantern, etc etc. Then when he shows answer the door wearing just a flannel shirt.Cook some smores. Then have fun.

ok well, let's dude-a-fy this thing

First off, to many candles.

Candles for dinner, candles in the bath, candles by the fire.... Candles.

Instead of the candlelit dinner take him to his favorite resturant, have some fun, laugh with him, enjoy each others company. Towards the end of dinner, flirt with him, let him know that your planning on having him for dessert (for lack of a more tasteful way to put it.) You girls are pretty good at getting the point across without saying it.

Get him looking forward to taking you home.

Once you get home go straight to the bathroom and get that bubble bath ready, call him in once your already in. It will be a welcome surprise.

You might wanna skip the candles here too since little flames don't usually hold up long against bubble baths and naked fiances.

After your bath you can have your candles, all the candles you want, cuddling up in front of the fire until your both asleep, (or ready for round two) is a really nice way to finish off your night.

I like the Steak + ripping off your clothes idea.

I think it would be pretty nice if me and my GF had a really nice dinner together with candles and everything. Then cuddled infront of a movie, and then some late night romp.

I dont think guys really look too deep into these things (at least I dont), i'm sure just having you is a enough for him, it would be for me.

Your questions implies that your fiance is a typical man. Each man would give you a different answer. One typical man would say "Vegas, gambling, food and strip joints." Another guy might suggest a nice tickets for a sporting event for his favorite team. It all depends on what your man is in to. Some guys are into wine, while others are into beer. Fine dining or casual dining? Hawaii or Alaska? The dinner and bubble bath would be great in my opinion, but for you to ask this question, you need to get to know your man a little better.

If you are doing this for him, then a candlelight dinner followed by slamming Red Bulls and doing it all night like porn stars is in order. If you are interested in something for yourself, then the bubble bath and fireplace is good. Try to find something somewhere in the middle so you are both happy.

you have good ideas. just don't make it a chore for him. i've known girls who've turned simple things like a backrub into a horrible chore for their men. Keep your plans but don't set them in stone. if he is an out door type of guy you could impress him by at least surviving a couple days in a tent without complaining.

That's not too "chick like" at all- you're on the right track!

Just keep in mind that swimming wouldn't be too bad- you could always go skinny dipping...

Wait a sec, did someone say steak? ;)

a three way with your hottest friend. just kidding. not really, that's what he'd want, but not realistic. do whatever you tink he'd want. you know him best. whatever you do. i think he'll love. candles or no candles. just being with you is probably the only thing he wants. atleast that's how i am with my wife.
