The maps are constantly being updated as long as someone is sent to every new subdivision, shopping mall, highway, etc.

I read how Yahoo and AOL Maps (before AOL purchased Mapquest) sent people to update maps on a frequent basis.

Not yahoo or google, they use the same maps (for my area, they are at least 5 years old)

Expedia appears to be even older, it doesn't have a whole neighborhood that was built during the early 90s, or the new toll roads that were built a few years back.

AAA has the best maps that I know of, however, they don’t have them online.

The new version of Yahoo Maps with the hybrid map and satellite images works really well for me. True, it doesn't have EVERY new road, but in many cases it works well enough to get me into new construction areas where there aren't even street signs!!

Sorry to hear this. They always work for me.
if you need something more immediate, try you cell phone company. Many have map programs not from $2 a day to $10 a month. They may help you with some more current information.

I stopped using Mapquest because of this. I now use Expedia.com and recommend it.
