Probably a sebaceous cyst (like a pimple, but bigger & deeper.) I had one once that I was able to treat myself, but you might need to see a Dr.

If it has puss in it it is possible that it once was an ingrown hair that became infected. I still recommend seeing a Dr. No one on here is for sure.. if you want.. research on Webmd.com and see what you can find. It is a reliable source of accurate info. I also think they have a link to email a Dr. Thats my best suggestion

Sounds like an infection caused by an ingrown hair. If you shave or wax that can happen to some people. Just get it checked out by a doctor and see what they can give you to bring the swelling down.

Go see a medical doctor. My son had something like this, it was caused by an ingrown hair. He was under close care of a Medical Center for about a month. It's resolved and it should not be a future problem.

i would suggest your GYN, not a dermotologist. let them do a full breast exam (ask them to look at your armpit). don't take any chances playing around with it. go have it looked at immediately!

Your physician should make a small biopsy and rule out cancer. Its too risky to ignore it.
