Why do you keep asking who? And why do you insist that we were "made"? Consider that the questions are the cause of your dilemma. They are filled with presumption, and they cannot be solved, in the same way as the question "Who determined that 25 is one-quarter of 100?" If you presume that the universe functions under laws that exist without being created, but instead that its origins are entirely natural and without intelligent guidance, you are able to slowly discern the answers to how things have come to be as they are. These answers will not all be gathered in our lifetimes, but then again, matters are further along now than they were when we were born. And we'll know more in 10 years than we know now.
So be grateful, and if you're weary of researching, go outside, look up at the stars, and recognize you are looking back billions of years in time, and you are among the few creatures known to exist who can discern that reality. And briefly, congratulate humanity for having come this far. We still have a long way to go.

First off, science does not say we came from chimps or gorillas or any other currently living primate. The theory of evolution proposes that we had a common primate ancestor. Secondly, science does not stop at that common ancestor. Microbiologists have shown some very fascinating evidence about how the first cells arose from non-living compounds. Physicists have amazing work about how the world itself came into being. As of now, science has no way of going to the very first anything, but religion doesn't either.
Religion does not explain how god came into being anymore than science can say how the very first particle came into being. Either route leaves you with a choice and either will require some faith. It comes down to which you feel is correct. Personally, I am prone to accept tangible, scientific evidence over supernatural explanations however that is a personal choice. Good luck in your search.

it is a little more scientifically sound than God but in my opinion life is a product of the chaos theory. we were developed by natural selection. the weak and unequipped died and we lived. we have no limit to where we belong. ambition drives us and nothing can stop it. God was the idea of a weak and ambitious ancient who came upon observing the earths nature and found that when a higher power is believed now he who has no physical strengths becomes respected. He interpreted the climate and animals and explained what people questioned. People believed him and thus it is the ambition of a physically but not mentally weaker person that created God.
