Depending on your sensitivity to the bulbs, you probably won't get very dark at all. You may not even be able to see a difference at all the first time. It took me forever to see any results, until about the 10th time I went in and tanned for 20 full minutes. Now I use a stand-up bed, and I have seen a lot better results, of course I wouldn't reccomend that for someone who hasn't done it before.
Here are some tips:
- I get super bored while tanning. Bring your mp3 player with you, espesh if you're doing the full 20 minutes.
- If you feel slightly clausterphobic, open the bed a little, it helps.
- Get a good tanning lotion. You'll see results faster.

It does depend on your skin type. Generally you only stay in for 5 to 7 minutes your first time, you will see some tanning but not a lot. For a darker more noticable tan, try professional spray on tanning, it isn't too expensive and lasts up to 3 weeks.

It depends, If you have fair skin you won't tan the first time, you'll get red if you stay more than 5 minutes, but if you have dark skin of course you'll have a tan the first time.

You may or may not see results the first day, but if you use a little sticker (which they have at most salons) and maybe use a gel pen to write around it so you know where to put it next time, then you will start to see a contrast between the skin under the sticker and the rest of your skin. I have a little heart on my right hip. It helps you keep track of how much darker you are.

It really depends on your skin colour. If your pale then you will have to build up your tan slowly so you don't burn, cos tanning beds can burn!!. If your medium skin colour then by the 3rd visit you should see an improvement of colour. I have tanish skin so when I use it I tan very easly.

It depends on your skin type. Generally, you don't get that tan. You will notice a little color or redness, By the second time around, you will notice more!
