I would love them no matter what religious preference they chose. Contrary to popular belief in the christian community, it's not evil. Pagans believe in a higher power too and the first rule is to never harm anyone or to use this type of religion for anything bad. It's big on "do unto others as you would have done unto you". I have very close friends who worship Wicca and they are some of the most tolerant, loving and peaceful people I know. They don't freely talk about it though because they are often ridiculed for it. It's a shame because the Christians and Jews I know would never fear talking about their worship or beliefs.

People consider me a pagan, but I believe in the basis that Christianity lives on before corrupted by man and has strayed from God. Love your child. Learn about what they believe. Accept and talk about how similar they are to not push them away, but understand and learn from each other.

you need to let your child make there own choices when it comes to religion its a person choice of what they want to do just tell them how you feel and hope they make the right choice because if you try to tell them what to do you will probably end up pushing them away

Wow, what a coinsidence. I'm an atheist and my mother just asked me today if there was anything that would make me believe in god. I calmly answered no and she left it at that. She's a pretty liberal christian though.

I would pray a lot and do everything in my power to try to change their mind. However, in the end, it would have to be their choice. I would still love them.

i would be sad and feel like i failed to help them have a solid understanding of bible basics like do not be unevenly yoked, or marry only in the lord but also i would be sad because religious differences break up more than a few marriages because beliefs are so personal.

Pray for them. I wouldn't be happy about it but they are free to make their own choices.

I would let them do what they wanted. I think it is Matthew 8:22 if I am not mistaken.

The man said, "I will follow you. But first let me bury my father"
Jesus said, "Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead"

We can't let the wrong choices of our family members keep us from our own faith.
