Yes it is possible to believe but not love.
Satan knows God & he hates Him!Why? Because Satan tried to run the office & be equal with the boss!
So the boss says,"HMMM....so you want to rule over a world,Satan?Well here!Clean out your desk & I will let you run the sewers!Take any one here with you that you knows feels as you do about me,& you can run the craphole any way you want!I know you are gonna cause the toilets to run over & stop up & throw some evil smelling poop on my ppl ,but they will be faithful to me & just wipe it off & ask me to help, because they know I have a special place for them where you can never go,you evil turd!"
So anyone who doesn't love God,wants to be throwing crap around with Satan in the sewer for all eternity!
& when the rest of us are with Jesus & God,you won't have anyone to throw it at except eachother!LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

Yes I think so. But you would not, then, "know" God. You can believe in the existence of God and not understand anything about His character, or have any experience of His caring for you or looking out for you in life. That would be a reason for not loving Him.

I suppose. Particularly if you're polytheistic, but I guess it's possible to not love a monotheistic god. It would be unusual, though.
I guess, if you've gone through a traumatic experience, then I could understand why you'd hate God, but still. The two typically go hand-in-hand.

i do not see why there couldn't be a difference between loving and believing in a god...then again, i don't see how it's possible to love an entity which is technically outside the realms of the finite human mind...

Yes! Until you have a more personal relationship with him you may not feel the love he has for you on a personal level. But you, none the less, still feel his presence and know he is there.

very easily - my grandfather for example.
he used to be a VERY devout christian, he was even a priest for a while back in the 70s.
His wife died of cancer three years ago even though he prayed constantly for her to be saved - he still believes in God, but he's very very angry.
He says he hates God, but he stills believes in Him (obviously - or else who would he be hating?)
So yes. Very easily possible, as with all things.
