First thing you have to know is the point system of the grades at your school. Most schools operate on a 4.0 system with an A=4 points, a B=3 points, a C=2 points, a D=1 point and an F=0 points.

Take the grades you earned, assign the points, add them up, and divide by the total number of classes.

For example, if you had 1 A, 2 B's, 1 C, and 2 D's you would have 14 points. Then divide 14 by 6 classes and you would have a GPA of 2.33.

Hope that helps.

This depends on whether or not your school gives + and - grades, and if all classes have the same number of units. Generally,
A=4
A-=3.7
B+=3.3
B=3
B-=2.7
C+=2.3
C=2
C-=1.7
D=1
F=0

If, for example, you got 2 As, a B+, and two Cs, but one of the C's was for a one-unit P.E. class while all other classes were three units, that will only count 1/3 as much as your other grades. So, you would have ((6x4)+(3x3.3)+(4x2))/13=3.22, since you have a total of 13 units.

well
A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0
you add up the grades you got with the numbers.Example if you get all C's you add up the numbers by how many classes you have, so if you have six classes it will be (6*2) 12 then you add how many classes you got to the number so 12/6 = 2.0 GPA.

Take and add all of your grade scores up. Then divide that total by the number of grades. That would be your average.

you could always go to the school admin and ask.
