although some "miracle" diet pills or diet drinks can potentially help you lose weight, it is not healthy for your body and therefore you usually gain the weight back or sometimes even more weight than you lost. they are good for a short term solution but not in the long run. just start slow with your exercise (i.e. start with running half-a-mile, then a mile the next day, until you get to where you want to be) and you'll find that it becomes easier each time. good luck

If you are serious about losing weight then you need to think about taking responsibility for yourself. Taking a pill is not going to work - and these are still drugs... even if they are 'legal' drugs.
Why do you need to lose weight? Are you eating too much, eating high-fat food, eating unhealthy food...?
You can also try energy therapy. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can really help with cravings and also get you back on track easily and without drugs of any sort.
You can also learn to do it yourself so you do not have to keep going to a therapist.
You can find out more from the web sites below.

It is simple, but for some very difficult. Take in less calories than you expend.
I use a site called www.myephit.com, which calculates height, weight, age, measurements, and suggest a total calorie count for the day based on Strong or moderate weight loss, or maintenance. You put in everything you eat and it lets you know how you are doing with a balanced diet - keeps you on track to let you know what you are eating too much or too little of. I am a fan of weight loss drinks for breakfast, and this calculates their benefits in with the diet, as well.
It also has a section to track exercise (walking, mowing the lawn, as well as high-energy), and one to track healthy lifestyle changes, like forgiveness. It works for me.
Wishing you success.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Sure isnt. It all comes down to dedication. Something Ive found that helps is, eating like you have gotten Gastric bypass. The only thing it does is makes it near impossible to eat more than a very small portion many times a day. Eat very very small portions many times a day and exercise.
