Simply tell him honestly what you just said to us. As a Christian, I understand your friend's need to try to help you to understand what Christ means to us...but he must also understand that the choice needs to be yours.

Hello, how old are you? And what is your religion? Explain to your boyfriend that you love him and all (or if you guys haven't dropped the bomb on eachother, that you care for him) a lot but you are happy the way you are. If he doesn't accept that, then he doesn't deserve you and isn't true to you and care as deeply as you should. If you ever choose to convert, change for you but not for anybody else. I wish you the best.(:

tell him that you don't want to hurt his feelings but you are happy with your life and do not wish to convert. I do recommend just for knowledge sake that you read up on the religion if you havent already. Its a fun read if you read it like an epic story.

There may be little that you can do.
He has been professionally brainwashed to believe that everyone who doesn't believe in the exact same deity that he believes in will burn in hell for all eternity, and that it is his job to convince others of his beliefs.
Sadly- you won't be able to change him, and he'll always believe that you are a sinner, who is destined for eternal punishment.
As was said- just politely decline.

One boy is not worth changing your religion. If you convert without really wanting to, it's going to gnaw at you. What happens if you two break up?

I have met many Christains like this and oooo one really made me mad. It gets to the point where they are being rude and insulting so I understand how you must feel.
What my husband always does is say ok tell me about your religion then I get to tell you all about mine and then he debates with them. And says I will never change my religion bc I have faith just like it. Trust me they do not want to hear about anything else other then what they want from you.

People are responsible for their own feelings. You should not even pretend to convert just to please him. This is not a casual change. Just because Christianity is so important to him, that doesn't mean it has to be for everyone else. If he can't accept you on your terms, he has some growing up to do.

say "I'm not interested." If he backs off good, if not, then you're going to have to get harsh. And trust me, if he doesn't back off, it's not going to hurt his feelings cause he's the type who thinks he's unequivocally right and you're unequivocally wrong and he'll probably just start praying for all the damn time.

Convert it's all nonsense anyway it doesn't matter what you belong to if you don't want to hurt his feelings.

No one can force you to believe anything. That's why it's all about faith. God loves you so much that He will not impose His will on you. However, understand that you've been given an opportunity to accept Christ, and what you do with it can have eternal consequences.
