First off, I'd start with a programmer. This is a device that plugs into the OBD(on board diagnostic) port, and will change settings to create more horsepower and economy. These are made by Superchips, Diablosport, etc. Another way to add simple horsepower with little $ is to put a performance exhaust on it. Several companies make these and are proven to increase power and mileage. If your looking for a serious increase in power, I'd suggest adding a centrifugal supercharger. You'll see an increase over 100-150 HP, but it'll cost you between $3,000-6,000.

Remove the Hemi. Those engines aren't as powerful as Dodge tries to make them sound. They only have about 1/3 of the power as the original Hemi's from the mid 60's.

I work at a Dodge dealership and all the answers so far are good ideas, EXCEPT BILL S's. These new HEMI's come from the factory with about 325 horsepower with considerably reasonable gas mileage. You should do all those things like chip, exhaust, etc. NOT trash the engine, like Bill S stated.

On this website you will see the link where you can purchase a chip which is easily installed and will increase your horsepower by almost 55 horses.
This is a better option than other answers because it will require the least amount of modification and work its just a plug-in chip!!

you can get a k and n air filter, that will add 9 more hp and give u some better gas mileage. You can also get a new exhaust kit which will probably give u 15 hp. Those are the easiest ways.
