find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

ojay this is the answer i used on someone who asked: How do i get a flat tummy but i think this will work for that too. :)

If it is hard for your body naturally to have a flat tummy I am sorry to say this but there is no "easy" way to get a flat tummy, it will take work. Those people who have a flat tummy naturally are lucky... but I will help you.

I don't know if you want abs or not but I'll get you started on this flat tummy ordeal: If you don't like the bulge in your stomach or whatever, first off you do not necessarily have to eat less but you need to eat right. What I mean by this is (although this might sound weird try it.... It will work) instead of eating 3 decent sized meals a day maybe cut out food from each meal and eat 5 times a day instead of three. Eat snacks and eat breakfast. Although this may seem not to make sense at first I'll tell you why this helps.

If you more times throughout the day with smaller portions instead of eating less times a day with bigger portions your body will be consistently and constantly digesting something (which will bring about quicker metabolism.) Your body will get so use to digesting that after you do this for awhile (eating smaller portions but more times) your body will be use to digesting automatically even at times that you may not have eaten yet. When you eat in bigger portions less times a day (especially those people who eat two meals or maybe even 1) your body will put itself into emergency mode and not metabolize as quick and store fat. Although, starving yourself helps some shed pounds (although Highly unhealthy) it's unhealthy and eating less meals is also unhealthy and most people who lose weight by skipping one meal were probably quick with metabolism anyways. Also, steer clear from artificial sweetners. If you want sugar get the real deal. The reason for this is not only is it bad for you from the fakeness of it with chemicals or the addictiveness or whatever but if you eat artificial sweetners your body is fooled and does not know how much fake sugar to eat and when you actually do have real sugar your body won't know when to stop eating it (this i read in a magazine).

Exercise wise...
Here's how to attain a flat tummy.

First off, be well-rounded in your exercise routine
You probably want to aim at Cardio...abs...obliques (aka love handles) and lowerback if you want a flat tummy.

First you might want to start off with cardio if you pinpoint all theses parts in one day. I don't know how advanced you are in running but you should run at least 15 hard minutes preferrably at least 20 though (if you don't have time otherwise long runs are good to) when you run try to go at least 80% in effort don't just jog actually try to run somewhat hard...but pace yourself and don't burn out. (if you run super hard for ten minutes it won't really do anything so pace yourself to at least make it through 20). Well after 5 minutes of a walk or light jog you should stretch actually (to prevent injuries) this is an important factor that really helps to prevent injuries that most people do not do. Anyways, after the 5 minutes of jog/walking and stretching then start your 15-20 minute run. After your run then do abs....
If your doing abs a huge helper would either be an ab ball or a Bosu ball (like an ab ball but half of it). It helps a lot more on your abs in a lot faster time because your body needs to balance and balancing works out your body a lot. When doing abs on a ball you can just do what you usually do...except on a ball or I have some exercises for ya.

1.Crunchies (30-40)
2. Crunchie turns (for these go up as you would in a crunchie stay up there and turn your head with your arms right or left and come back down and then do the opposite side (15-20 on each side)
3. cunchie leg thing...do a crunchie with lets say your right arm out while lifting your left leg upand trying to touch it ..... then do opposite lf andd arm (this worls obliques)
4.bicycles
5. back extensions

and i'm tired of writing ask if ya need more answers.....

oh also consume less dairy.....eat less before sleep or don't eat at all before sleeping and ifyou don't have time to excercise avoid tv and computers as much as you can many people say they don't have time but few actually do have no time. What I'm saying is a lot of people waste their free time on tv and such.
