So many people have opinions about the Holy Bible but have they really read it all the way thru or are they forming their opinions on what they've heard?

I have read it thru 10 times and I am on my 11th & 12th times thru, one reading with my son & one solo. The amazing thing about reading the Bible is that every time you read it thru you glean something new & understand something more about God's wonderful purpose. Praise His holy Name .. Cap'narlo

I can't really pick a favorite. But tops of the list are Revelation Chapters 21 and 22, Ruth, Esther, Song of Solomon, and 1 John through 3 John.

Favorite verses: 1 Timothy 4:10, "For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the savior of ALL MEN, especially those that believe."
Exodus 15:2 "YH is my strength and my song and he is become my salvation!", Isaiah 46:4, Luke 4:18 and 19, Isaiah 52:6-10, 2 Corinthians 4:7-18, Isaiah 55:1, Psalm 133:1, Hebrews 12:22, Revelation 21:3
These are just some of my favorite promises from God.

I have read my Bible all the way thru. I used to say that the book of Hebrews was my favorite because I really enjoy chapter 11 (the Faith chapter). But now I'd have to say that the book of Acts is my favorite. I've really enjoyed reading about the "beginning" of the church. But if you ask this question a few months from now, it's hard to say what my favorite will be! Just gonna keep reading and listen to what God says to me.

Yes and No I've read it all the way through but kinda skipped over numbers and psalms a bit. My fav book is Kings in the OT

The people who usually say the bible contradicts it's self are usually the people whom have never actually read it. They take things out of contexts and interpret what they have read to explain what they believe

Yes.I have read it through several times since I was a young teen.
My favorite is the Proverbs in the Old Testament. They are so wise & totally true!
If Jesus never was born, then this book would have to be our guide on how to act & obey God!
Jesus came to save us & we are in the New Testament now,but I wish everyone would read Proverbs! It is awesome!

I have not kept track of exactly what I have read but I would guess that I probably have read all or nearly all of it at one time or another. My favorite book is Genesis. In fact, the very first verse is my all time favorite. It is the basis for everything else I believe. God Bless.

My favorite books are Ecclesiastes and Isaiah. Psalms is another one that I like.

There are a few books of the Bible that I enjoy but it would take me forever to describe them all.

My favorite NT book is the Gospel of Luke: he tells the story of Jesus with a social justice slant - overturning oppression, setting the captives free, etc. And, he gives more prominence to women in the story.

My favorite books from the OT are the prophets, particularly Micah (What does the Lord require of you but to seek justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God - Micah 6:8) and Isaiah.

I'm in the process of reading the Bible the whole way through, trying in vain to regain my lost faith, and my favorite book so far is Luke

Your right that is the big problem.A lot of people don't even read it and still talk smack, stupid. I've read it from cover to cover many times. It is a must to read over and over again and can be difficult to read and understand and takes the discernment of the Holy Spirit.
