I think to blame "God" is an easy way out of a mess WE have created. There are some of us who do not believe in God and this world is still what it is (with or without God). Blaming God (any God) is an easy out and unacceptable. I am not knocking those who beleive in God, faith is a very personal thing, but even if I shared my family's faith, I would not be able to play THAT blame game!

No. The state of the world and the present condition of God's creation can not be blamed on God. He created us and the world to be perfect but He did make one mistake (if you want to call it that). He loved us to much. It was because of that love that he gave us the ability to think for ourselves and to choose whether or not to follow him.

I think the only people we can realistically hold accountable are ourselves. If we don't like the way things are, we should work to fix them. Blaming God, real or not, serves no purpose.

Well, if all the religions thought that they would not have much faith in their religion, right? So no I do not think that nor do most religious people. We get ourselves in all this not God. God test us all daily.

No. We are responsible for the choices we make. We need to do a better job of holding ourselves accountable before we take on a supreme being...

"Judge not, lest thou be judged."
You are judging God because of all the suffering on earth? Don't you realize God is responsible for Heavenly things, while Satan is responsible for earthly things?
The only true God is the Christian God; "I am who I am," as spoken to Moses on Mount Sinai.
God answers to nobody; something you hopefully remember.

it's like an old movie plot, there is the boss, then there is the followers, boss says to do this and to do that, but the followers pick and choose what they want others to hear, making the boss look bad and making themselves look good.
and if there is no boss, then it's the followers that need to be held accountable.

It's very selfish. The idea of creating an entire race just to worship you? It's arrogant, narcissistic, and megalomaniacal.
