Hello, I have a question that needs to be answered very soon.

Explain how the importance of community is represented through the Sacrament of Baptism in the Catholic parish.

If anyone can help, that would be great.

Baptisms are actually supposed to be done during Mass before the congregation. Baptism is one of the Sacraments of Initiation in which the one being baptized becomes part of the Church family. That is why it should be done during Mass, so that the Church family can welcome its newest member. However, many times Baptisms are celebrated in a private ceremony with only family and friends present.

God bless,
Stanbo

Baptism would not could desire to be, and many times isn't a mob scene. only God and 3 others are of value. the toddler, who God accepts as being in His care and freed from sin. The God mothers and fathers who communicate for the baby, supply its call, and take accountability in making particular the baby is dealt with in understanding Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and many times bear in mind all Birthdays. The priest will very gently instruction manual you in the process the ritual. I do desire you're Roman Catholic, for , if no longer, that can end the Baptism. get excitement from it, it truly is a prior and delightful ritual. in case you like the actuality.....Ask a Pagan.

Why is community important. Only the parents, the God Parents, the priests, the Baby, and God are needed at a Baptism. In Baptism God is accepting the Child into the protection of his Arms and his love while relieving th baby of all sin. Then the God Parents take up the responsibility of making sure the child is made to know its religious responsibilities-----and to make sure there are some birthday presents.

Gods and Babies don't need a crowd of worshipers to do their thing.

If you want the Truth.....Ask a Pagan.

When someone is baptized they are brought into the church and born again as a child of God.
That person will then be joined into the community of Christians.
its the first step in becoming a part of the christian community.

Ok im not the best source but how I see it when they are baptized they are becoming part of something - the church. And the church is a community!
Also, the godparents and parents are there to see that the child is risen in a good spiritual relationship.

the godparents are the community. They are there to lead the child in a spiritual journey with God. The rest of the community is the attendees who also take an unspoken vow to help the child being baptised

The Church is the body of Christ as the Church is Christ's bride so anybody who wants to become part of the Body shouldn't mind if the body knows about it huh?
