or how do you get midget dogs? my friend has a mini lassie, and another one has mini chows dogs.

Neutering young actually produces a slightly LARGER dog. your friends either have dogs who's genetics say they will be small or they had a malnutrition probem while pups.

are u sure the mini lassie is not a shetland sheepdog (sheltie)? and the mini chow is not another type of spitz type breeds? if not what they have is not good breeding its down sizing and is not healthy for the breed...let alone the dogs.

and no neutering will not stunt a dogs growth. it is healthier and lowers the risk of cancers of those parts on males and female...not to mention the fact that millions of dogs and cats die every year...

Neutering does NOT stunt an animal's growth. Toy & Miniature breeds are specifically bred to be small.

Those breeds are genetically bred to be small and I don't think a vet would neuter a dog if they thought it was too young.

No but they can die from complications.
