I think you can as long as your both involved with someone. It is really difficult to be "just" friends if you are both single(unless one of you is gay) and hang out allot. There is always the possibility of an ulterior motive with one out of the two and can become awkward if the feelings are not mutual. There is also the term friends with benefits but that can get messy too.

Yes they can... But sometimes it is unusual... Normally, it happends when the parties are allready in relationships and develop a deep frendship that neither one wants to possiably destroy even if later they do have the possiability to have a relationship due to them becomming single at one time. Sadly, for most people in the world... This isn't really all that possiable... Most don't have enugh loyality when brought up to the situation not to cheat when it is really pushed...

I'm old fashioned in this arena. I don't think they can purely be friends. yes, they may not have a lot of physical attraction, but I think somewhere along the lines, the potential for one developing an attraction to the other is highly likely.

Not for me, but for somepeople, they insist that they can be only friends with the opposite sex.
For me, I can never not crush on my best guy freind. I always think about them "that way", no matter how "friends" we are.
So the truth is, I think no they can't. Some people have their own opinions from their own experiences, but no one knows if theY're lying.

No, unless one of the party is gay or both but one being les and the other gay. other then that there will always be some sort of romantic thing between the two of you. or if either one of you is really ugly. then maybe. good luck

Yes and sometimes no.....if there is attraction from one person or both...it makes things hard....
