Burning sensation in neck??

Question

I have a burning sensation in the back of my neck towards my right shoulder and I do not recall doing anything to cause this, but it hurts pretty bad? Has anyone had this same experience or have some ideas as what it could be? I know the neck is pretty delicate so I probably injured it without even knowing.

you are right that you probably did not notice when you injured yourself, i would suggest to see a doctor if this sensation persists or worsens, good luck
