3-5 dollars, I buy mine at a beauty supply store, and much better than the stuff in a box.

Depends on where you go, it can start at $20 and go to over $200. For lower prices, try a cosmetology school. I go to Aveda Institute to gey my hair done all the time, and get facials, etc. It costs alot less than normal salons because students do all the work, but the job is just as good.

The price range is quite wide, from the lowest at a beauty school, to the highest at spa salons. Go visit a few salons or schools in your area. You'll have a better idea of the quality and price you are comfortable paying. By the way, chemically, you dye fabric and you tint hair.

I'm Asian, so I have to go to an Asian stylist. The one I've been going to for the past few years charges $50 for highlights, $80 for coloring, and then $30 dollars for each additional color added. I usually don't spend more than $120 not including tip, but one time it did cost me almost $300.

It depends on where you go. It can be as little as 25 at a hair school to 100 at a salon. then if your getting highlights added and a hair cut the price can go up to 200 or 300. Good luck. Hope I helped. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.

Depends on where you go. My aunt is a stylist at a very nice salon, and it costs almost $200. It only costs me $25 though, since she only charges me for the dye.

here's a tip (go to a respected local beauty college) and ask for a "senior" who specializes in color. If you're hair is shoulder length or short, it will only cost you about 40 dollars.

7-20 bucks with the boxed stuff. I wouldn't get it done professionally, it is waaaay to expensive. My mom used to get hers done every few months and decided to let it go gray because she was spending 75 bucks to get it dyed.
