Besides all those crazy expensive treatments what really heals acne scars. I go to a lady who has cleared up my acne and does all sorts of junk creams and microdermabrasion on my face to clear up my scars but it isn't really doing all that much or anything at all. What is a cheap and inexpensive way that REALLY works on this stuff?

I used to use honey adn my friends say my scars heal pretty well. People say if regularly apply 100% aloe vera gel to your face then it can help with old scars and prevent new ones. Also lemon juice can seriously help. if you apply during the day make sure to wear sunscreen. One thing that I am going to try now is rose hip oil. There are also lactic acid peels. go on ebay and search and then read the sellers feedback.

Different scars require to be tackled differently. And there are even scars which require to be treated using a combination of more than one elimination method. A large number of treatments exist for smoothening over scars and these include: pulsed laser technology, dermabrasion, chemical peels, laser resurfacing, punch techniques, collagen injections and creams. Collagen injection involves injecting collagen or fat under the skin. This treatment is generally administered in the case of soft scars, whether deep or shallow. However, the effects of collagen are not long lasting and injections have to be repeated every 6 months. Also, it should be noted that collagen has some adverse side effects and allergic reactions could also develop. Microdermabrasion is where tiny particles are passed through a vacuum tool with the purpose of scraping the external top layer of the skin. This process, which is only effective with mild scarring, acts as a stimulant and enhances the growth of new cells.

Bio-Oil helps improve the appearance of all scar types. Bio-Oil is also highly effective in helping to maintain the elasticity of scar tissue on joints and other high-mobility areas.

Bio-Oil should be massaged in a circular motion into the scar and surrounding skin twice daily for a minimum of 3 months. Younger scars have a greater chance of improvement within a shorter time period, however scars that are older will also benefit from the regular use of Bio-Oil. On new scars, Bio-Oil should be applied only once the wound has healed and should never be used on broken skin.

Hi Brandon,

Your best bet would be to check out

http://usefulresources.info/natural-acne-remedy.php

This is one of the very few products out there which really treats the acne problem at its roots from inside and out, no matter which kind of acne you have. Without damaging your skin, all natural and endorsed by doctors and herbalists.

I've literally wasted hundreds on other "miracles" but this one is highly efficient and that's what only counts for me. It should also help you get rid of your acne in a breeze.

Hope that helps.

All the best,
Melinda

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

I am not sure, just eat a ton of veggies and fruits, and 10 glasses of water a day.

Also put sunscreen on the scars, because the sun can make the acne scars worse.

For shallow acne scars, see your doctor or a dermatologist & ask about Retin-A or Differin. These products stimulate collagen production & promote cell turnover.

I've used both of these products & they helped minize my shallow acne marks. I prefer Differin because it is a bit easier on my skin.
