I doubt it. Although both AC and Vegas are only nice around the casino areas and crap everywhere else, AC is coming into a little competition with Pennsylvania legalizing slots. It is only a matter of time before PA legalizes table games as well. AC is trying to build bigger and better casinos to keep up, like the Bogata. Ac will build up more but even Trump is looking to get out because they already lost a lot of revenue to PA. Vegas has more real estate and will remain superior.

I don't think so, Las Vegas have the upper hand over Atlantic City.
1) its much cheaper to stay in Las Vegas than Atlantic City and you can find many places there you can have a lovely meal cheap, not in Atlantic City.
2) the climate is in Las Vegas favor.
3) When Atlantic City had the upper hand in the business, they fail to improve their surrounding to attract people to come there. Atlantic City should have built a nice theme park, better stores to shop, nice places to dine out for the evening. There is not much for the non gamblers and kids to do in Atlantic City. AC shows are limited to see than Las Vegas.

Never because after more than twenty years they never had. Vegas was based on gaming as the major industry while Atlantic City never was
However, Macau has taken over the title for making the most money from Vegas.

Not a chance. Atlantic City is depressing. Las Vegas will always be superior.

no way! although both are gambling, the climates differ too much, vegas has the upper hand due to the dry, warm environment which enables year-round construction/tourists
