One might expect that a snake oil salesman would add such advertising content to reassure the mark that he better not express skepticism or else.
I understand the term insane. Symptoms include irrational, illogical beliefs. For example, the belief that ones religion is monotheistic but worships the 3-in-one God who has been the same for eternity yet begat himself by himself, requiring only a virgin to birth himself then talk to himself in the garden and ask himself why he couldn't lift the burden of Crucifixion from himself when he was all powerful and could have changed all the rules if he had wanted to but he did not give a sniff. The insane have foolish, irrational, illogical beliefs tha tthey cling to in spite of all evidence, reason or logic to the contrary.
It's propaganda boy, to keep you subservient to the biggest and most profitable business on earth: superstition, fear, and hatred.

I hope this helps you. You are a fool. Insanity is the act of repeating something, expecting different results. You keep trying to convert or put down athiests. Its not thier fault that religion has destroyed this world. You are the insane one. I am not atheist either. Everyone is insane, with very few exceptions.

Why the need to be sarcastic about it?
Since when do you attract flies with vinegar?
1 Peter 4: 8 reads that love conquers all things!
No need to be rude to anyone!
Agape and peace to all!
is much better!!!
As I read some of the answers,
it just reminded me of kids at the kindergarten
crying that their daddy is the strongest,
and that he can beat the other one's daddy, etc.
Is that what your God is all about?
Mine is a God of love, wisdom and mercy!
Who loves everybody!

Look. You need to respect those who choose not to believe in what you do. I believe in God. But I don't impose on others. I even respect other religions. If they choose to be an athiest, respect them. Don't attack them. You don't know what good they probably do. You're quick to misjudge and lack any understanding. If the bible teaches you about respect thy neighbor. You should practice it more. Because you're a Christian, doesn't mean you're special and have the right to impose or attack anyone that doesn't believe in the same.

No - I could quote from any book, be it written yesterday or 2000 years ago, be written in English Latin or Hebrew. Quoting from it does not make it true.
It is the context, its usefulness.
Here is a quote that Christians and other Theists should try to understand:
"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so"
For it is that one simple phrase which has so liberated people and brought them from superstition to enlightenment.

It doesn't offend me either way.
It's pretty brilliant marketing, actually. "Only stupid people will disagree with you." There's also, "Oh yeah, people are going to disagree with you and might be mean to you. It's because you're right all the time. You'll get extra blessings because of it."
The book saying it doesn't make it true, but whoever came up with it was flippin' brilliant. It's the perfect way to establish an us/them dichotomy AND ensure people remain steadfast in the face of contradictory evidence.

Why would this passage have any affect at all on Atheists. If your an atheist, you believe that that Bible is a fiction novel, meaning that nothing in it is true. I have no feelings at all about this passage. Frankly, I don't care.

Whew, good to know that a huge piece of propaganda is not properly translated. See before I worried about what the Bible said about me, but because of this gem of information I'm ok with myself now.

Why would you think a passage from your religious book would "offend" people who believe differently than you? Are you offended by what other scriptures have to say about nonbelievers to their faith?
