Greece would win, as such a war would be instigated by Turkey against the peaceful Greeks. This would cause the US to step in and turn Turkey into a large crater.

Ho hum..... Same old same old stuff. Its been tit for tat for years and america has supplied arms to both sides. Greece is EU and Turkey wants to be. Both countries are NATO. Greece is a democracy and Turkey can't get their stuff together in that respect.
Power to power without the world Turkey has more bulk in forces. But Greece does not have to invest in the military because other countries would get involved and probably side with Greece. Its a new day and age so nationalism regarding who would win is a moot point. Even pondering it on either side is backward thinking and not realizing that hey..... it's the 21st century and there are bigger things to think about.

Turkey's army is much bigger but it first needs to get through the Greek airforce and navy which in comparison are smaller by a margin. Greece has some of the top pilots in NATO and a very strong defense system so it would be tough for Turkey to get through. Plus i can imagine if Turkey attacks Greece, NATO among with the west would sympathize with Greece and would help in some way. War would be damaging and very unwise for both countries

Nowadays Turkey is by far the more powerful nation individually . Greece used to be under Turkish rule until the revolution but that was under the Ottomans. Greece is on much better terms with other nations so they would have more allies. Turkey has 514,850 active troops and spends over $12,155,000,000 on its military each year. Turkey could easily take over Greece in a one-on-one battle but it would not only spark a resistance in Greece but many other nations would intervene. Greece would never attack Turkey for the simple reason of that there would be no possible way they could win. Hope this helps.

I would say that Turkey would win. Turkey has more resources.. a larger airforce, etc etc in comparison with Greece. Greece does not set aside much of its budget for defense as it has not had to.... Turkey, on the other hand, has had border problems for a while and their army is more READIED.... AND.. If there was war between the U.S. and Greece, Greece would win because Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Kennedy, etc would be on the side of the Greeks against the U.S..... same with Turkey

There would be so much Greece that the Turkey would slide out of the pan.
Turkey has U.S. Military backing so the deck is stacked.
The U.S. has a history of helping overthrow democratically elected governments in Greece-which is why the U.S. is not respected there.

Greece would win.As it is an 'E.U' nation, the other members would come to Greece's aid.
Seperately,no matter what is said about the following,Turkey will never be given membership of the E.U.

I think that eventually as the war really heated up, that Greece would eventually fry Turkey.

None. Because in all wars so far conducted, there have never been any winners, only losers, even for the one perceived to be the one that won the war in the military sense.
