I don't want quotes from Jesus or anyone. I want to know, where in bible does it say that "This book is 100% real."

It doesn't say that. It does say, "all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

This is an age old question. Pontius Pilate asked Jesus "what is truth". Jesus is THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.

You are asking for an answer but limit where a person can quote from!!! You cannot put the lid on where a person quotes from, that is like saying go fishing but don't go near the water!!!

Do you see on a Webster's Dictionary "This Book is a 100% Dictionary".

Here is a statistic you can bank on, all of the Biblical prophecy that has been fulfilled to date has been 100% accurate.

Read and study the Bible and figure this one out for yourself.
Many have set out to "prove" the Bible not real. So see for yourself and get back to us.

Psalm 119:140, Psalm 19:7-9, Psalm 33:4, Psalm 111:7, 2Timothy 3:16, 2Peter1:20-21, in John 17:17 when Jesus is praying to the Father, He calls the Father's word "truth".
By the way, to quote Jesus is to quote the Bible.

actually, there's a little humor in what you posted. the Bible is God's Word. if you do not want any quotes from Jesus or anyone, then i cannot tell you anything from the Bible that is not a quote.

however, i do understand what you asked. there is no verse that say "this book is 100% real." literally. and at the same time, i cannot offer a big help now.

but will be back for you.",)

I don't think the Bible is going to have the exact words you're looking for. Why should a book have to say it's true? It's either true or not. If I told you something and I kept insisting it was true, would you believe me? Probably not.

Paul told Timothy:
2 Timothy3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed...

It's up to you whether you believe it or not. Even if the Bible said 1,000 times that it was true, would that make a difference? It's either God's Word or it isn't.

I believe it's true.

Read the 119th Psalm -- all 176 verses -- the commandments
of God or God's words or some phrase like that is in nearly every verse.

II Timothy 3:16 - 17 - All scripture is given by inspiration of God and etc.

Hebrews 4:12 - The Word of God is quick and powerful, etc.

Isaiah 40:8 - The word of our God shall stand forever

The church says the bible is the inspired, inerrant, written word of God. The bible says the church is the pillar and ground of the truth.

Regardless ... the church ... not the bible .. is the supreme governing authority of the Christian faith ... because Jesus set it up that way ... bible or not.

Ever read the book of Daniel? Daniel wrote of great prophecies of the fall of the Bablyonian empire, the rise and fall of the Persian and Medes, the rise and fall of the Greek Empire and Alexander the Great, and the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. I know this doesn't prove that the Bible is true but it does make me wonder about the historical accuracy. The events prophecied in Daniel is very specific.

It says that it is the word of God and that word will never loose its meaning or can be contorted by man. Of course this is not true, and I have proof.

My Pastor told me when I was eight years old that I was going to be sent to hell for listening to Rock and Roll music. Even though I was unaware that it was a sin in the first place and, that is what my dad listened to when we were stacking wood.

Gee, I wonder why I am not religious now? Maybe cause they are all under an illusion and are all power/control mongers. I am not atheist either. I am just smart enought to know that I am in no position to really claim to know what God is.

It is either you believe that it is real or you don't. There is evidence that it is real(archaeological evidence for the cities) or you don't. It is a matter of faith. Would you believe it if there was a foot note at the end that says-P.S., this book is true, every last word. You wouldn't. You would be skeptical. I would. So you need to have faith that it is real. Read Case For Faith. It has a section devoted to that question.

Many Christians say god wrote the Bible but, the Bible doesn't say this, in fact the bible says it is written by several people who give their names to the gospels.
