What does this have to do with Dogs?

I think a lot of people who answer this question are very uneducated with what is actually being done to save the planet. They hear activist and political personal tell how bad things are but why don't they mention the advancements that have been made in controlling emissions by factories and industries. Or the many environmentalist and scientist who have made great progress in the awareness of the pollution problem and the solutions that have been put into place because of this awareness. Here are just a couple websites that have documentation of improvements and what controls have been implemented.

http://www.gov.cn/english/2006-06/29/content_322522.htm
http://www-formal.stanford.edu/jmc/progress/
http://www.epa.gov/Region7/programs/artd/air/progress/progress.htm

Everyone is aware of the pollution problem but not everyone is educated on the progress being made. And I agree with you that everyone needs to do there part to keep pollution down. But there will always be someone who will not care enough or doesn't think the trash they throw in the waterways and on land is that big of deal.

People everywhere are already doing there part to control pollution. The only way to truely stop this is to teach and educate the future generation at home not only in schools, if we are setting a good example and showing them the effects of how recycling and rebuilding and keeping rain forest and forest have already made a difference we will have more responsable adults.

There are many industries that are installing the most up to date emissions control systems, reuse the emissions to fuel the plant, use natural resources and use recycled products to run their companies. New York is a good example of this in the Green Buildings that are being built of nothing but recycled items from the walls, floors, desk, products ect...

So my advise is make sure you are educated on what you post with questions like this.

I agree with you--the world could be a better place. If everybody who read this picked one thing a year to help the world, we'd be in an even better place.

However, I do think I would rather be alive on this planet now than at any other time in human history. Think of all the advances in medical care! So don't get down when things seem to be going down the crapper today. You could have died of dysentery, childbirth or gangrene in a heartbeat. Now those risks are much, much less.

I'm sorry but I am believing less and less that there is such a thing as Global Warming. I'm seeing the exact opposite.
For the rest, I'm all there, recycle things, look after the planet, I'm glad to live in a place where recycling and re-using is done. My last property had over 70 trees, lol, I think I'm doing my part there.

Humans are working together to try and preserve the world. There are such people called "environmentalists". You make it sound like every single one of us is completely apathetic and ignorant of what's going on with the world. If you really want to make a difference, stop trying to preach it through the internet and join Friends of Earth or volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

You are right. I think this world is falling apart fast! It's just silly. Ignorance really can be bliss, because I think if we hadn't of thought of splitting and rejoining atoms, we'd probably be a lot less paranoid and have more friends = a better way of life and a better world.

I agree with your sentiment, but with the picky, rude people on here, you would get a better response if you used spell check, and were more careful with your grammar and posts.
