this is a question that you are likely to get a different answer from every person who answers.
The length varies a lot, even within the same 2 people. Morning, night, drugs, alcohol and almost every environmental factor you can think of all affect performance.
"Technically" it ends when both people orgasm. With many women, that can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes. That being said, it's often a combination of foreplay and intercourse that release the orgasm, and some women never orgasm from intercourse (penetration).
Generally speaking guys usually can orgasm within 2-5 minutes of penetration, which often makes for a frustrating sexual encounter between a man & a woman. As guys get older they learn to control their orgasm better (by deep slow breathing and by distracting their thoughts away from the pending orgasm), and this can allow some guys to go indefinitely.
For most women, it's not the length of time that matters, but the feeling of intimacy and the final orgasm, which can be brought on many ways, not just by a penis.
You don't say whether you're a guy or a girl, or gay or straight, so my answer was kind of geared towards a straight guy, which may be less helpful if you are gay or a girl.

What do you mean how many times should it go in? Sex consists of thrusting in and out. There isn't a number of times specified. There aren't instructions, lol.
But at the same time, sex usually lasts until you both orgasm. Usually the guy will orgasm before the girl leaving her unsatisfied and pissed off. So I would suggest lots of foreplay (use your fingers and mouth on your girl, or sex toys) and then get in the act.
You probably won't last long your first time, but with practice, you will get better.
AND USE PROTECTION! I can't stress that enough. I mean, come on, do you really want green discharge to come out of your penis and then for it to fall off? Just kidding, it won't fall off, but if you don't use protection you can get a girl pregnant or get a nasty disease!

As long as it takes to get the job done, whatever you're trying to accomplish. There isn't a magic number, "Pump 14 times and you're both screaming in ecstasy" (though I wish that's all it took sometimes).
