You shouldn't focus on negative things that happened in the past. Its only going make you sad when you see it.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Maybe a banner with a cross or something that symbolizes his happiness in heaven. I've never been a big fan of white, but I've seen some of the newer reds that really stand out as banners. Maybe a red banner with slightly rolled ends, with gold tassels.

So young, I just don't have words to offer comfort. My best wishes to you and to Trevor's parents in dealing with this tragic loss.

something that symbolizes him, a cross, angel, something that will remind you of him or represent him. Sparrows are also used to commemorate lost ones. "Another less-used meaning dates back to Ancient Egypt. The Egyptians associated sparrows/swallows with the stars and believed that they caught the souls of those who have passed (hence "living" on as stars). I have two on my back, one on each shoulder blade, with the left representing those I have lost in the past and the right representing those I'll lose in the future."
You can put his name above whatever picture you decide to get, and his birthdate and passing date below the picture. I am sorry for your loss, and good luck!

I think portrait tattoos are gorgeous. You could pick out the picture you most like of you godson and have his name & date of birth & death scripted above & below the portrait. I don't know if you have ever seen Miami Ink on TLC, but some of the portraits that Kat Von D does are my favorite!

Get a guardian angle tattoo with banners for his name and dates, I think that would be a good tattoo for a baby that has passed away. Sorry to hear about your loss, I'm very close with my godson also.

I dont know if your religous, but a cross with TJC, birth date and date he passed away engraved in it might look neat on your arm, ankle.
