Changing schools doesn't mean anything, except that your Cost of Attendance has increased. Community Colleges are extremely cheap, so it is more difficult to get pell grant money when you go there. However, it is better financially overall, because you won't have thousands of dollars in loans when you finish.

Anyway, since your cost of attendance has increased, you may be eligible for pell grant and /or loans through the government. It is all based on a formula that takes into account your income (or you parents' if you are under 24), and how taht compares to cost of attendance.

Fill out the FASFA. No changing schools shouldn't have anything to do with aid. Unless it cost more, then maybe you will be more likely to get aid.
