Me I was on one this winter March 12-17. Carnival Inspiration. Had a single room. Visited Kayman Island and Kozumel. It was fun even though half of the ship was filled with Spring Breakers. Cost was decent, food great, weather great. Would do it again. My advice: bring sea sick pills because you can still feel movement.

Carnival Fantasy Dec of 2005
3 night to Nassau
was not long enough! got use hooked. the food was awesome and it had almost no children and as far as sea sick if you drink ice water with lemon it helps more than the pills!
Nassau is OK and has a lot to see but is noisy and dirty in the city. the pirate museum is great and the Atlantis is amusing to see the aquarium in the dinning room from floor to ceiling

Carnival Inspiration Sept of 2006
Cozumel, and Grand Cayman
saw the ruins on the Cozumel itself and they are nice even if small and grand cayman is so cute and clean
the food is wonderful and the ship is very nice on both our last 2 the service was as if we were a king and queen, with living in Florida we plan on making this our first chose vacation, after 10 cruises one of the perks is free laundry service!!!!

Next Carnival Glory Sept of 2007
Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize and Nassau
looking forward to this cruise more than the last 2, will admit because we have friends in Belize (missionaries)

NO. I am not a travel agent, just have a bit of a traveling problem. Oh well, you only live once. I have had inside, outside and the dreaded partially obstructed view balcony( I looked at lifeboat #12 for 7 days). I try never to travel when the kids are off school. I prefer to take my kids out for the week so it isn't so crazy busy on the ship. The only Cruise I had issues with seasickness was the December Cruise, choppy water and cool. You cant beat the travel or prices. Food is aw some and you can be as busy or lazy as you want to be. I recommend booking your excursions thru the ship because if they tour runs longer than planned the boat wont leave without you, and in Belize and the Caymans it was close.

I went on a cruise Sept 12-16 i think in the year 2002. It was carnival and it was awesome!! I went from Florida to the Florida Keys to Cozumel, Mexico and back to Florida. The food was good, there was a buffet all the time but I usually always ate pizza or a hotdog. The food was all free and I had a free drink card. The rooms were nice. The weather was beautiful except for one day when it was really windy it was hard to walk outside. There was a shopping place that was amazing and I was there with a lot of family. i would totally go again, i loved it!!

I guess I'm in the minority here. lol
My hubby & I won a cruise to Tahiti & her Islands afew years ago. We were on the MS Paul Gaugin. 200 passengers & 194 crew. Top notch service & a balcony room. Great food etc. $ 15,000.00 USD a week, for the cruise only. It was fun, but we decided cruising is not our thing. I didn't like having to wait to get off the ship, and I think you never get to see much of any of the places you visit. I'd much rather go to the Islands and stay in a hotel for a week or two, and really check it out. You don't get to see much in 4-6 hrs.

I went on a cruise last august...the ship was sovereign of the seas and it was fairly nice. I liked the food (constant buffets and dining room to order off menu). The pools (2) were right next to each other and salt water filled yuck so you can say I didn't go in them. I went to Nassau and coco cay (4 day cruise) and they were beautiful. White sand clear blue water, warm but off and on rainy weather. The show I went to was fun and the performers good. I went to the dress formal dinner and it was really boring. Other than that...I pretty much fell in love with the cruise experience. Well let me warn you about something you won't love: security coming home...what a nightmare! They treat you like a criminal trying to hide something...rudest ppl you'll ever meet. Other than that it was wonderful.

I am a criuseaholic : ).... I have only been on two but had a wonderful time on both. I cruised on carnival destiny this past Feb and I was on golden princess may 2005.... am planning to book another one for Jan 2008... I have done the eastern and southern caribbean routes so far and I loved just about every island I have visited .... my favorite island's so far are St Thomas and Antigua and my least favorite so far were Dominica and St Lucia they were not beachy enough for me beautiful just not for me.... I have to agree with you on the motion of the ocean... I use dramamine on my first cruise and they worked good but made me sleepy on my second one I used the generic kind of dramamine and it worked great not sleepiness what so ever.... I would definitely recommend a cruise to anyone whos planning a vacation....

I have been on two cruises. One on the Inspiration, one on the Fantasy. Both were great. I have another one booked on the Carnival Glory for Sept of this year. I am definitely hooked.

I've been 11 times and I'm going on #12 in August. There is not a better vacation on the planet.

On reason you "felt" the movement is you were on a smaller ship

Also Spelling note:
Grand Cayman, & Cozumel

Been 4 times and enjoyed every one of them. Always went with P&O cruises are they are the best. Never been sick on any of them, food has always been fantastic, they are like 5 star floating hotels.
