She has even written him poems about how she misses him as if they were lovers. No funny stuff has gone if you know what i mean. But i still find it a bit strange to be talking to your brother like that. I know she dislikes me as i do her but we cover it up with smiles.

You dont say how old she is. If she is 10 or 11 then I wouldnt think anything about it, she will outgrow it. If she is 16 or older then she has a problem. Just let it go, eventually she will have a boyfriend and forget about this.

Sounds to me like she has an unusual crush on him. She is trying to "get him back" by writing the poems and such. You two need to "air out your dirty laundry" and let each other know how you really feel about each other, and then decide on where to go from there. You two should either try to agree to dislike each other and let it be known, or learn to like each other because no matter what you will have to deal with each other.

family is family. encourage your bf to spend some time with his sister. take her to lunch or something. When she sees that you are encouraging him to spend time with her she may open up. Maybe they were really good friends and she feels like he ditched her when you came along. when it's appropriate invite her along and maybe invite a single male friend as well to keep her company. I'm not saying invite her along on dates but if your going to a bar or to the movies what's the harm.

If you are here to stay she will eventually get over it. just for the time being make a place for her in your life. You may end up being really good friends. My hubby's sister was jealous (she didn't write poems or anything) but after a while she cam around and now she calls me before she calls him. (Honestly I still don't like her, but no-one knows it)

i was going to say that. Maybe her and her brother were lovers. People do that. but dont let anyone break up your relationship if theres nothing wrong. Ignore her or tell your husband to talk to her about her behavior.

No offense but, it kinda sounds like your husbands family tree might be a wreath. If your husband feels the same way then you should cut and run! She may really be in love with him, so talk to your husband about it. You may need to have a RESPONSIBLE ADULT conversation with her and tell her how uncomfortable she's making you feel.

If you cover issues up with a smile then you too are also immature!!!!! Sounds like you are also jealous if you react to such behaviour!!!! Just tune her and her escapades out and work on your marriage.

Maybe nothing sexual has gone on but she is still missing something in her life. Like a real boyfriend, maybe. Can you fix her up with somebody?

She has issues. That's gross. If he's not concerned with it .. then that's strange too. He should talk to her about how inappropriate it is to say things like that. Otherwise nothing you can really do about her jealously

Get over it and be the bigger person. Talk to your husband and see what he thinks the problem is. Let her behave childishly and everyone will see that she is the one with the problem.
