We Christians have been taught that we will receive persecution, trials, and tribulations from the world. We have been taught that when we receive these trials, to count it as pure joy. We have been taught that the world will hate us because of our beliefs.

Please continue posting questions of this nature because it is strenghtening our faith.

OK some of the questions are about the nature of christianity, some are about the validity of it, and some are about persecution, nor all three at once.

Here, on this forum, it is not our beliefs that cause consternation. It is our actions that non-christians don't like. As a Christian I must say that even I don't like the above statement (the question, not Alberto's answer). As a Christian we should not encourage encourage dissension as an exercise to strengthen our faith. Such a statement is selfish, has nothing to do with Christ, and is, in my eyes, un-Christian.

Every religion gets persecuted. Christianity persecutes other beliefs, so why be upset when the same happens to your religion. Nobody believes the same things, and some just are just too fanatical to believe anybody else could possibly a belief that is equally valid as their own.

you folks do not even know what persecution is.

when you live in fear of your very LIFE you are being persecuted.

when people are not trying to change your beliefs, but trying to Extirpate you from all known existence then you are being persecuted.

not being allowed to force non-christian kids to pray in a public school is NOT persecution.

not having the 10 commandments in a public court is not Persecution.

you want persecution. go live in Saudia Arabia. where you will be killed or at absolute least forcibly removed from society for being anything but Muslim. that my friend is presecution.

"we will receive persecution, trials, and tribulations from the world"

How exactly do posts that question the validity of Christianity fall under that category? We're not even allowed to QUESTION your religion without it being labeled 'persecution'?

I don't see questioning the nature, concept and validity of Christianity as persecuting anyone. Its a matter of free thought and discussion. I don't see your questioning my atheism as persecution. Its fine with me. Its what we need to do. I do not hate you for what you believe. That totally goes against my personal ethics.

such as you pronounced...particularly plenty each and every faith is divided into diverse sects and denominations. Many Protestant communities have been formed over the centuries through fact the Catholic Church lost its potential to destroy everybody who theory in a diverse way--they persist with traditions and have confidence they have extra authority than the Bible. each and every team down in the process the a protracted time have stronger somewhat extra in the direction of reality and faraway from the pagan traditions that have been joined to Catholicism. some have stagnated the place their founders left off...and have not endured on their seek for reality. ultimately the authentic Remnant Church will come thoroughly out of Babylon. The Bible easily does describe the authentic Church as being one that keeps the Commandments of God and the Testimony of Jesus. in fact the authentic Church is a real Judaeo-Christian church--the place Gods regulations are written in the hearts of His followers, and we save them to obey Christ who suggested, "in case you like Me, save my commandments." He additionally suggested that by way of their culmination you will understand them. i understand many non secular and God loving people who belong to church homes that do issues i do no longer discover in scriptures. i'm particularly particular that whilst they understand the actuality they are going to be between the 1st to leave the ruts of comfortable pews...to hook up with the Persecuted Remnant Church of prophecy.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that people who try to force their beliefs on those who aren't interested will sometimes have to deal with hostility. If you take that as "proof" of something, that's just part of your delusion.

The world doesn't hate you for your beliefs. People simply want their right to believe as they do to be be respected.

Anything like faith that is unopen to questioning via rational discussion is subhuman.
