A Muslim guy can marry a Christian or Jewish female, and that's totally suited in accordance to Islamic regulation. A Muslim female won't be able to marry a Christian or Jewish guy. The reasoning given for it is that the guy might technically be the pinnacle of the enjoyed ones ( sure, i think of heads of families is an old theory) and if he chosen to no longer persist with Muslim non secular regulations and/or observe holidays, it would reason issues. additionally, the guy might no longer have faith that it relatively is his accountability to help his relatives on his very own like Muslims have faith is the husband's accountability, that should reason economic issues. As for the officers being particular religions, i think of it makes perfect sense. With lots violence being led to by ability of non secular motives, equivalent representation is important as a fashion to maintain the peace and determine that each and every person interior the country has a say in working it.

It is said in the Quran that a believing woman (muslim woman) only may marry a believing man (muslim man). A man however can marry a Christian or a Jew, but a muslim woman is best for him. I believe Allah's intention in that is that it is easier for a Muslim man to help a God fearing woman to Islam than it is for a Muslim woman to help a God fearing man to Islam, so Allah is helping women have an easier marriage, by relieving them of the burden of helping their new husband convert. Some Islamic cultures feel it is best to keep the religions from becoming mixed to reduce the rate of divorce which is haram, except in certain circumstances.

Typically in Islam a man is allowed to marry outside of the religion because, traditionally, as in Christianity, the man is the "head" of the household. The household tends to follow the religion of the man.
I don't believe that Muslims are particularly known for their record-keeping (I think our Jewish brothers and sisters are better at that!), so I would doubt that there is a formal "record" of who is a Muslim. I know that in my American mosque, we have no "directory" of "members," but instead rely on email and word-of-mouth to spread news about events!

Islam and Christianity can not exist in the same place for very long. Islam does not recognize that there is any other religion. Muslims are taUGHT TO HATE ANYTHING THAT IS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT THEY ARE TOLD TO BE.
Muslims are not allowed to think for themselves but only do as they are told.
Can you immagin how terrible this world would be if there were only muslims. Who wuld they have to hate and blow to pieces. Oops I do think that is already answered. Each other just as in Iraq and DarFur.

I am not sure about the legality of the marriage in Lebanon. However God forbids Christians to Marry unchristian. That is the reason for the flood judgment of Genesis chapter 6.

a muslim man can marry a christian or jewish woman who believe in one God. so i don't get why can't they marry each other, maybe it has something to do with family tradition thing not religion. it's like you are marrying someone outside of your culture, how your family will adopt to it.

Surely you jest!! In the Muslim countries people are looking for reasons to turn their neighbors in and if the reason is good enough......things happen to them.
Do you not understand that those are Muslim countries and they "hate" Christians? The Koran say kill Christians & Jews if they won't convert to Islam.
We are badly spoiled in the United States of America. Most people just don't understand that when they leave America, ALL rules of ALL games change drastically and I repeat, DRASTICALLY. Pops
