It would help if you told us your gender and where you will be so we'll have an idea of what type of things you'll be doing, but here's a pretty good checklist if you are a woman. There's another list in the link.
1 Pair lightweight khaki slacks
1-2 Jeans
1 Pair slacks/capris (that can be dressed up)
1 Lightweight Jacket
1 Sweater
3-4 long-sleeved tops
2-3 sleeveless tops (good for layering)
4 Short-sleeved tops/t-shirts
1 Nice warm-up suit (if you wear that kind of thing)
1 Jersey-type fabric dress (something that doesn't need ironing)
10-12 pair underwear (or fewer if you have time/place to handwash)
Pjs/Sleepwear
1-2 Swimsuits
4 pair socks
Sneakers
Walking Shoes
1 pair dressy sandals
With the clothing, I recommend rolling them tightly to maximize space use in your suitcase and to minimize wrinkles.

Bring an adequate amount of stuff so you dont have to buy anything then. Dummy. Seems pretty simple to me. Man, what a stupid question.
