And if you can't put your references on the resume, do you bring a seperate sheet for the references? Should you just not give them the references unless they ask? Should the reference page be printed on the same paper as the resume, or just plain white paper? HELP!! my interview is tomorrow...

Put your references on a separate piece of white paper and bring it w/ you to the interview. That way if they ask for them you have them ready.

Yes include your refernces!!!! A trend for a while was to put "references available upon request" but all that serves to do is piss the employer off as they have to work harder to find out if you're qualified, which is a daunting task already. Put your references at the bottom of the page of your resume. Best of luck at the interview. Get a friend to do a practice one with you tinight asking you typical interview questions so you have an idea how to respond!

Most people put a several reference pages in their portfolios that can be handed out when requested at interviews.

Do NOT put them on the same page. You never know who is enemies of whom and why kill your chances by putting them on the resume. They should be on another page with the same name/address header as the resume. Then just label them references.

Another reason to stay with the traditional (references available on request) is that you don't want your references to be needlessly bothered - apply the law of diminishing returns: the more times they have to answer the same questions about you while taking time out of their day, the shorter and less effusive those answers will get.

No. it is not bad to put references in ones resume.
If the references are credible like former managers - it gives the message that you parted ways with your former employer well. It would also give an opportunity for someone to check out your professional background.

Don't put any references on your resume, if they are interested in you they may ask, at that time you can fill in references on there application.

It depends on the job you are being interviewed for. If you are competing for a good job then bring your refrences anyway to show you are prepared.
