If he breaks up with you, you should not be talking to him anyway. It is over. Understand it. I don't think your ex-boyfriend could make it any clearer for you. Work on finding a new boyfriend and leave him alone. Don't call, don't text and don't ask about him either. You will sound like a stalker and you are not one. The best way to forget him is for you to get a new boyfriend. This time get one that is a friend so you have lots in common and have some fun together this summer.

Alright, I'll give you the advice I was given with my ex and it worked like magic. But you have to follow the rules!!

Rule 1: 30 days of NO contact. Absolutely none. This includes calling, texting, or e-mailing. Any form of contact is going to be strictly off limits. Promise yourself. If he calls you or contacts you, that's fine, but keeps things brief and upbeat.

Rule 2: For the next 30 days, work out every day for at least 30 minutes! This will help build your confidence and work through some of the emotions you are dealing with because of the breakup.

Rule 3: Start seeing him as not something you need, but something you want.

After the 30 days, call him. If he doesn't answer wait a few days and try again. Don't leave messages because this could cause him to ignore you. If he answers, ask him casually to go do something. have something specific in mind.

If he says yes, go and just have fun! If he says no, take it as a clear sign and move on. You'll be more prepared to.

Do your best to move on. If you guys didn't end the relationship on good terms for whatever reasons, then clearly you two don't need to be together. Even if he did talk to you, when he gets a new gf she's not going to like the idea of you two talking. But I think it's good when people can still maintain a great relationship after they break up. Maybe he has good reasons why he does not want to talk to you and you shouldn't be worried about him because the relationship is over. Forget about him and move on girl. Maybe if you show that you don't care he might start to come around. But really just forget about him .Good luck

Move on.
Gosh...how old are you anyway?
If he's anywhere from 12-16 then...get over it. If it was some silly break-up like he didn't like you anymore or you didn't like him or something that isn't as traumatic as you sleeping with 1000+ guys and lying to him about it (just an example) and he's going to ignore you for it - then that shows that:

1) he is immature
2) he doesn't know how to handle a relationship
3) he's a coward and afraid of you, your response, your friends who are probably backing you up 100%

basically, all signs point to SOMEONE YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO DATE. find someone who DOESN'T fit the 3 above.

I've been in the same situation. My ex-boyfriend doesn't talk to me anymore. No matter how much I try, he won't. At first, I found it hard to get over, and that's reasonable if you do care about the person. Then I began to get over it, because I realized that if he doesn't want to talk to me, then he doesn't care about me, and it's not worth chasing some boy. And, it's sad, but we just don't talk.

So, in my advice, go up and talk to him, and tell him you want to remain friends, and you know that he's mad at you, etc. but if he's not willing, and he's being a jerk...then I would just forget about him and move on. There's not much else you can do.

I just dealt with a horrible breakup. A friend referred this book to me and I read it and now I feel 10 times better than I used it. It's a quick read and well work the time. I'm not big on reading but its the best answer that I could give to anyone that has relationship problems. The link is http://www.myspace.com/heartrx

if your boyfriend broke up with you and he doesn't want to talk to you after the break-up ..it can be two reasons:

one , he may just need time to get over the break-up which you should give him that time, when he is ready to talk he will come around.

secondly, maybe you were just a play thing at the time..he got what he wanted and now he doesn't want it anymore.

the best thing to do is don't worry about him. move on with your life....

If you need to talk to him, I would try something that doesn't make him feel stalked or trapped. Don't call him and leave 50 voicemails. Try sending an e-mail or leaving him a note somewhere he'll find it. Don't ask questions like "why aren't you talking to me?" Instead, try something like "I feel like you just left me hanging without an explanation, is there anyway we can talk about it sometime soon?"

Go up to him and say "What happened happened. I know that we broke up but we cant avoid the subject forever. If you are going to act this way, I dont know why I would go out with you in the first place. Just talk to me." Trust me, works like a charm
