The Holy Bible Alone! Start with the Gospel of John & judge everything else according to the Bible. If it isn't consistent it's not from Christ. Don't be fooled by those who misuse Jesus' name (i.e.Jehovah's Witnesses & Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints--LDS, Mormons, Christian Scientists, Muslims, etc.).

To learn a good & simple summary of the important teachings of the Bible go to Luther's Small Catechism at http://www.lcms.org/graphics/assets/media/LCMS/smallcatechism.pdf.

You can't find the original teachings, Jesus did not write. He had ADHD and liked to work with his hands as a carpenter or as a doctor. Same as today.
A loose interpretation of what Jesus said can be found in one of the hundred or so versions of the Bible.
You certainly cannot learn what Jesus said by observing the behavior of his fans.
