From what I've seen, they are generally surprised, which surprises me!

If there is no God, why bother discussing it, atheists? Surely you would have a more productive and enjoyable time discussing something else.

I am an atheist, and I am surprised that christians witness to me on a question and answer board. Unless the question was: "what techniques are used by christians to witness to atheist?" , the witnessing is off subject.

I'm not surprised, just annoyed. This is not a Christian forum, and it is not a proselytizing forum. It is a R&S question/answer board. If I were on a Christian board or something, I'd know to expect it. But Christians do not encompass all of "religion."

I am not surprised at all. It doesn't bother me, either. I do not like people being condescending or bigoted, though. If someone wants to share what they believe with me, I am happy to listen, but I expect the same courtesy.

Sorry I really don't understand your sentence. I don't know what you mean by the phrase witness to them.

Right, it will be a "cold day" when I stop talking about my beliefs because an atheist gets their panties in a knot.
As long as they can spout off about there being NO God, and their reasons why they believe that, I will spout of about why I believe there is a God, and why, with no hesitation whatsoever... It's called a balance, and a respect that needs to be LEARNED apparently.

Not really. Just sort of annoyed because the rules say not to.

Are Christians surprised when Atheists respond with disbelief?

What's your point?

Many of us feel like we're witnessing to the Christians.
