Starting two weeks ago, I have been exercising every morning for an hour and a half. M - F I run around the track (6 times) at the fastest pace I can without stopping . The other time is spent walking to and from the track (1 mile). Coming back is quite steep since I live in a hilly area.

On Sundays, I go for a 7 mile walk around the area, which includes some steep hills.

At the same time, I have cut my calories in take to about 1,500 calories per day. According to websites, to maintain my weight, I have to eat 3,300 calories per day.

--Breakfast - Special K (1 cup) and half a cup of Soy Milk, and 2/3 a cup of orange Juice.
--Snack = Kelloggs K bar (90 cal)
--Lunch - Salad with light Italian dressing, or Chinese food with no rice, just vegies and non-fried chicken (ex: kung pao).
--Dinner - Chicken Noodle Progresso Soup (220 cal) and a lean cuisine (250)
--Snack = Kelloggs K bar (90 cal)
Plus I drink about 9 bottles of water a day

if you started just two weeks ago, and if it's your first time to be in this routine, it will take a while for you to lose weight or to trim your body... your metabolic rate (the rate at which your body consumes calories) adjusts according to diet and exercise and depending on your genetic make up and body structure, this takes a certain period of time.. i mean, some people takes only a short time to adjust (one week for me), for some it takes longer (say one month) meanwhile, you should continue doing this routine.. be patient.. :)

Exercise. Dieting does not mean you have to deprive yourself, don't diet, it's not good for you. When you tell your mind you can't have a certain food, all your body does is crave it. So when you have lost lots of weight and decide to treat yourself, the wanting of that food would be so high you will over-eat and all that time spent dieting would have been wasted. Just start a healthy eating regime, you can still eat what you did before but in smaller doses. Eat Healthier, exercise more but don't deprive or starve yourself.

You should see a doctor to make sure there's not a medical reason why you are overweight. Are you taking any prescription medications? Have you had a lab work up lately that includes thyroid levels, sodium levels, kidney function? Abnormal test results of any of the above could be a factor.

One of the main contributors to weight loss is muscle mass. You don't list any stationary exercises (non-aerobic) such as weight lifting, stomach crunches, etc. to build muscle. The most successful way to burn fat is by building muscle.

When you first a weight loss program - you might actually gain a bit of weight because muscle weights more than fat but is more dense. Therefore - you should either be taking your measurements or try on some clothes that were tight before to see if they are now looser.

Are you monitoring your heart rate when you are walking? You might be exceeding your target zone and actually working out anaerobically which burns way less calories.

Find your zone and try to workout within the target.

Also, don't be tricked by light or diet foods. In order to take out fat they often add sugar to make them taste better. Sometimes the calories in light foods can be the same or higher than the regular variety and it is extra carbs.

you deffinately need to do 2 things:
1) eat more veggies and fruit - 5-8 servings a day
2) consume more calories - your body is being deprived and doesnt want to give any fat away. for people over 150lbs body needs 70cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1680cal/day. you spend so much more than that during the day.
if daily calorie intake calculator says you need 3300cal to maintain then i wouldnt suggest you to go lower than 2400cal/day - and thats more than i usually recommend anybody (usually 300-400cal deficit)
but dont jump to that number instantly - add 50cal/day every week so your body has time to adapt till you get there
