Usually you cant wipe with a glove on and its hard to tell if you wiped good enough. Plus it gives me gas.

No not really i have been palying golf for 6 years and i have an 7 handicap and i don't wear a galove . They are mostly used for comfort and so your hand does not get blistered . Thier are more than a few pros that don't wear a glove anyway.

Yes, especially if you are a new golfer. The glove can help prevent blisters on your hand. If you are a low handicapper with the proper/right grip, sometimes you feel better without the glove. The glove primarily prevents the "lose grip" or at least helps in preventing it.

I never wore one when I started then my brother got me one and I started wearing it.. I couldn't tell the difference. But, I asked my cousin who is a PGA Pro and he said... it helps keep a better grip on the club. It also helps prevent blisters. Other than that... there is no point in them. Unless if you like to keep track of your ball maker for the green :)
So... if you need helping keeping a good grip or if you have blisters.. then i would suggest getting a glove... other than that, no need to have one.
:)

my brother doesn't wear one because it makes his had itch and it gives him blisters. so it really personal preference. some people get blisters with it. some get blisters without it. some get better grip with it. some get better grip w/o it. its all about your preference and the way you want to play :)

The first time the club comes flying out of your sweaty hand you will know what the glove is for. Trust me. Been there, done that.

If your not having a problem holding onto the club due to sweat, or the torque of the club, dont use one. Fred Couples doesnt and last I checked, hes won a lot of cash!

some players swear by a glove, others a minority don't care for them. It does help a bit with grip, and does combat blisters.

Wouldn't consider playing without one.
1. Club doesn't feel right without glove
2. Prevents blisters
3. Greatly improves grip in wet and dry conditions.
