To be honest, getting rid of pimples depends on your skin type. If you have really greasy skin use products that will extract all the grease and dry up your skin a bit. Or, try using hot water, that will help clean out your pores.
Sometimes pimples can come from what you eat. Try not to eat too much chocolate because believe it or not that can clog up your pores.
As for a very fast way, I'm not quite sure there is one. If you wash your skin regularily and act in hygenic ways, that should help.

Back in the day I had to take medication to keep my skin clear, but today if you start using Proactive, in 2 weeks max your skin will be clear. You should continue to use on a regular basis. It is very reasonably priced, and lasts along time. I think you can still get the starter kit for 19.00 or 20.00. Try it.. It is great. I have never met anyone that it did not work for.

Wash your face two times a day, eat less sugar if your diet consists of a lot of it, and moisturize after washing your face.
Zia: skin basics fresh cleansing gel = extremely good face wash
Lubriderm: advanced therapy for extra dry skin = really good moisturizer
Hope i helped!
