They're not joking. They're dead serious.

Serious to the point that several insidious "teachers" make a living by indoctrinating children in the belief that science is wrong and/or evil, and the Bible (at least, their interpretation of it) is correct. Many even teach that "Leviathan (or behemoth) is a dinosaur." See, for example, the garbage and nonsense put forth (by non-scientists) as truth on...

Now ask these people, just how big was that ark Noah built? It would have to be pretty enourmous to contain two of every kind of dinosaur (and imagine the cage that would have had to be built for the T-Rex's, the velociraptors, and other giant and/or vicious carnivores).

Funny, and hard to believe that some people are so gullible and ignorant.

More important is just how scary it is when you consider what they are teaching not only their children, but others as well, and what they want to have taught in our public schools! Particularly scary when you consider the political power evangelicals are trying to acquire. What will happen when the scientists who would have been discovering genetic cures, alternative energy sources and new technologies instead devote their energies to proving fundamentalist dictated mythologies.

Well for one, to the person stating that Adam and Eve did not exist, you're crazy. It's sad people don't believe that Jesus Christ is real! If u ever had anything just awesomely happen to u out of nowhere, please know that was God but so many people are closed minded. I am able to see spirits and everything so if spirits are real please believe God is because he's a HOLY SPIRIT. So yes, Adam and Eve did exist before God made man and animals and I do believe that Adam and Eve or decedent's of them lived with dinosaurs before they died out. For one, the earth ended when God flooded the earth, if u don't believe he did that, ,then look up the ark that's still sitting at the top of Mt everest above the clouds, so that did take place. So when he flooded the earth with water those creatures became extinct. They were beasts of the earth. They had they're own territory where they dwelled and so did the humans. Jesus said that he will destroy the earth with fire next time which will be when

Reminds me of Calvin and Hobbes:

Calvin: Dad, were there dinosaurs around when you were a kid?

Calvin's Dad: Sure, your grandfather and I used to hunt brontosaurus for all the clan rituals.

Calvin's Mom: Look, I think Calvin's grades are bad enough already...

Or the Far Side: (Caveman pointing to a picture of stegosaur tail) Now this end we call a Thagomizer, after the late Thag Simmons.

Gary Larson said that he wished there were cartoon confessionals where he could say, "Father, I have sinned. I have drawn dinosaurs and hominids in the same cartoon."

They're the same folks who think "The Flintstones" was a documentary.
Seriously, I'm sorry to say, in the dawn of the 21st century, there are still people who believe that very thing. It would be sad if it weren't so scary.

Do you think Eve went to the store to get "Brontosaurus Helper?"

I believe that when Adam and Eve lived, dinosaurs were around. When God created the world, he created everything. So that would include dinos. After the Flood, all the plants and insects and such became much smaller. So the dinos probably died out after the flood because there just wasn't enough food to eat.

From movies like Jurassic Park, many people think that all the dinosaurs were enormous, invincible killing machines—humans are just too small, dumb, and weak to have lived during the time of the dinosaurs.

The truth is, humans live in a world that is still home to many incredible, large, and intimidating creatures. Large reptiles like the Komodo Dragon, anacondas, alligators, and crocodiles don’t keep man from flourishing on the earth.

Elephants can get up to 11 tons (22,000 lbs). An elephant can kill a man by stepping on him with one foot or by striking him with his powerful trunk. Yet, we have no problem taming these animals or even training them to do tricks in the circus. If man can work, play, and even go to battle on an elephant, why couldn’t man do similar things with certain dinosaurs. Yes, some of the sauropod dinosaurs grew four times larger than an elephant, but most dinosaurs were smaller than an elephant.

Killer whales (Orcas), are one of the oceans’ fiercest predators. They eat hundreds of thousands of pounds of mammal and fish meat every year. Seals, sea lions, walruses, otters, polar bears, and even moose have all been found in the stomachs of these creatures. But these are captured, tamed, and trained to do tricks.

If humans today can manipulate animals that are over 100 times their own size, why is it so difficult to believe that humans and dinosaurs once inhabited the earth at the same time?

Genesis 1:28 says, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

When man and large animals get together, whose in trouble? Blue whales get much larger than any of the dinosaurs, and it’s the blue whale that has nearly been hunted to extinction in the past.

A lot of people get their ideas about how animals behaved from Hollywood fiction. But is Hollywood trying to tell an accurate story or an entertaining story? Now think if the dinosaurs had survived today, but the elephant had gone extinct. They might have made a movie like Jurassic Park about elephants. You see, if we didn’t know how elephants behaved, they might have been perceived as monsters. The movie might portray them running around stabbing people with their tusks. Because what else would tusks be used for except for stabbing prey? They were sharp and pointy. Well no—elephants are gentle animals; now you don’t want to make one mad, but they are not monsters, they are just animals that God created for our enjoyment. Dinosaurs are the same; they are not monsters, but just animals God created. As Dr. Jason Lisle has said, “You can’t tell the behavior of an animal by its bones any more than you could tell the behavior of me from my bones. You can make a guess, but that’s all it is.”

People like that only accept two things in this world: the Bible and The Flintstones.
For some reason they can't understand that both are fiction.

There are a few that do. If you believe every word of the bible you have to. I can think of one person on here that does, she also says they had houses so they were not cavemen I guess.
