Because they watch CNN and believe the hype they hear about all of the support they have, in truth about the only ones supporting them are the people who are using them, namely the unethical employers and the democrats.

I'm a minority and I'm SHOCKED TOO!
I cannot imagine, especially AFRICANS not siding with the MEXICANS on this issue. THERE ARE MANY ILLEGAL AFRICANS, ASIANS, AND OTHER PEOPLE OF COLOR HERE ILLEGALLY and it boggles my mind to know that some of those people actually do not support this so-called-AMNESTY. There are EVEN MEXICANS, who came here illegally and found a way to become legal, who are against the NEW MEXICANS STAYING HERE. People today, are Sooooooooooooooooooooo SELFISH, Even I stopped speaking to an AFRICAN BECAUSE I felt if she felt ONLY SHE HAD A RIGHT TO BECOME LEGAL IN THE 1986 AMNESTY and NOT anyone else, NOT EVEN HER OWN PEOPLE, then she couldn't possibly WANT ANYTHING GOOD FOR ME.
HOW CAN PEOPLE BE LIKE THAT. This person came on a visitor's visa and NEVER WENT BACK, she used some of her legal friends SOC.SEC. CARD TO GET JOBS and she kept doing that until they came up with amnesty. She did every crooked thing she could to stay here and because of the amnesty bill she became legal and NOW SHE IS THE ONE SHOUTING THE LOUDEST ABOUT MEXICANS GO HOME. What is happening? WHERE HAVE THE LOVE GONE? It is shocking that minorities are NOT AGAINST racism,which is what this is really all about.
One poster said her husband is Mexican and is against the amnesty; I feel so strongly about this that if he was my husband, HE WOULD SLEEP ON THE FLOOR OR IN THE GARAGE UNTIL HE CHANGED HIS MIND.

Because most illegals are Mexican and they feel that the United States was stolen from them by the Americans. They want it back and they expect to win that battle in our Congress. With them Amnesty and the new citizenship they can vote all 20 million now and when they are citizens, they will be allowed to bring over the border 100's of millions of their direct relatives which will give them the majority vote in all (including Presidential) elections.
The Blacks are not stupid, this is survival and they see the Mexicans as a threat to their welfare system, jobs, and their race to the white-house...and it is VERY REAL.

Shouting insults at Americans and placing the Mexican flag above the U.S. flag is not scoring points with anyone. All hell is going to break loose if they continue to come here dressing in their yard sale militant clothing and wrapping bandannas around their faces. They need to be treated as hostile by the government and the resources necessary to quell their thirst to take over should be used immediately. I don't know how it's gone this far with citizens alone.

I don't think they are shocked by that. Illegal immigrants often come from countries with more severe racism or deeper ethnic dividsions than the US, and probably wouldn't expect a lot of solidarity with other groups.
Those who /organize/ the pro-illegal movement - American leftists - /do/ expect all 'minorities' to band together against the evil rich white male capitalist hyenas who oppress them.

Because they think if they yell racism, minorities will support them because all whites are racist, that makes their breaking the law OK and the minorities will support them because they think the minorities are stupid enough to only hear 'they don't want me here because I'm brown'.
It's not about racism ... it's about nationalism ... that's the point they do not understand.

wow some people are stupid, obviously your talking about U.S minorities. i don't understand why they didn't get that.
my husband is Mexican, born and raised here in the united states and he does not support illegals coming into our country.
