I am Christian.
Religion means "retie" or "bind fast."
Business, on the other hand, is a farcical attempt to make fun of the values that keep families together by making it all about a medium of exchange, as if that's all that families are there for.
Business and religion do not mix. Fair enough, if people give up on family values and want to have a career in life. The Bible says that religion is supposed to be the opposite to that approach, though. Psalms 20:7 - "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God."

I am a very religious person but I find it offensive when others make a display of their faith, or lack thereof. If someone thinks they can get along in life and beyond going down a path different from mine, so be it. Besides, I've known many people who are self-proclaimed non-believers who are honest and decent, and some who radiate fire and brimstone who are not. But I do wonder where a non-believer finds faith. If it's just in himself, that's very self-indulgent, egocentric and arrogant. People are not the center of the universe.

Definitely
It actually makes me sad for humanity, because I have not threatened anyone with hell or physical harm, but I feel such hosility from some of these Christians, that I would worry for my safety if this was real life. There sure are some wackos out there intent on forcing religion down your throat.

No. The questions I get tired of on here are the ones that obviously are set up to try and bait believers, and that many times are based on ignorance and/or misrepresentation. Being an atheist doesn't automatically mean you are educated, intelligent, or an intellectual - Yahoo Answers helps to prove that.......

It does seem a bit like other prejudices does it not?
"You cannot sit in this part of the bus, you do not worship the right god."
Then again, who enforces the "don't ask, don't tell" laws when it comes to faith (lack there of). We would ALL have to be willing to play nice, and I do not think that will happen.

Bettie, I totally agree. This self-rightousness of these religions groups does get tiresome.
EDIT: NaturalComma aka NaturalComa, do you work at McDonalds? Hey, if it makes you feel better, I would rather eat my own crap than eat anything you made.

Of course. It's hard for them to be humble. Definition of humble,"Think no more of yourself than you have to, but think so as to have a sound mind." I guess we better not do that.

I have a room under the stairs adjacent to the kitchen so I can prepare all of their meals and I am happy to spit in every dish before bringing it out to them.

"Why are atheists here, anyway? I don't meet them in church. I don't meet them at work, or in the dentist's office, or in the local bar. I don't pass them on the street.
"But I come to R&S for a little RnR and they're -- gasp -- HERE! WHY GOD WHY!"
