Because there is a mental process similar to mass hysteria. For example if everyone in a room was told that they have a deadly disease, a symptom would be tingling in their toes, then 80 percent of the people in the room would say that they have their symptoms. The effect works the same with those mass healers, what they don't show is the cripple returning to his current state. Remember, all the telivised "miracles" are a business, true miracles are kept out of the papers and are rewarded with a single kind-hearted thank you., the easier explaination would be that it is a set-up.

God truly works the gift of healing at the crusades Benny hinn ministries holds. I have witnessed people getting healed when entering the Honda Center at one of the crusades when know one had even touched them. If you watch closely you will see when people come up on the platform their coming up to tetify of being touch by the Lord while sitting in the stands, their seats. They come up to testify of their healing, before Benny lays a hand on them. There are some christians that call foul because they think benny or anyone else who God uses to manifest healing are holier then they are, so it must be of the devil, because I'm just as good a christian as he is, not me that what some think and say. The bible ask this question: "He who ministers the Spirit, and works miracles among you (that's God) does He but the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? This one lady said she came from new york, having said if I can get to the crusade in Anaheim where Benny is holding a meeting God will heal me, well you know what happen when she walked into the Honda Center, she was healed of cancer, she felt a warmth come upon her body, and she knew she was healed, and Benny wan't even there yet. Listen anybody who looks to a man being a christian is out of line, it is the unsaved the backsliden and babie christians who get healed, and there is a whole lot of the gift of faith manifesting also, 1 Corinthians12:4-14.

I have always said that, if faith alone could assure someone healing, there would be some people who would never die. Unfortunately, we have people like Benny Hinn who are willing to tell people this; and people who are willing to believe it and give him money.
Don't get me wrong: I do believe that God heals people; and we should certainly ask for His help with all our needs. But the fact that someone is not healed has nothing to do with the depth of his or her faith, and I am tired of that guilt trip being laid on people in addition to their pain.

I laugh and laugh at people like Benny Hinn! God is going to have one serious chat with that guy one day! Maybe his gold and diamond rings will block some of the punches!

It' faith in God that heals people. Not faith in Benny Hinn. Not some mystical power that Benny Hinn has.

Some TV show showed how they would have perfectly healthy people sit in the front rows with crutches, then Hinn would command them to get up and walk and wow, behold, no problema, they'd get up and walk. Its so evil that these fakes, these charlatans, take millions of dollars from sick, desparate people.

Even Jesus could not do miracles where their was no faith. One can not be a preacher or a prophet in their home town. For they would just be Little Benny from down the block that used to pick his nose in class.

He can't heal. The people that believe he does believe he can because he can recieve the gifts that were given to the apostles at the day of Pentecost. Realistically, those gifts ended with the death of the apostles.

Benny Hinn and others, cannot heal people. Even Benny says that it isn't he who heals but it is G-d that heals through him. He teaches people that Jesus heals, many times through our faith in Jesus, but never because of a fallable person... even Benny Hinn. I'm not saying I agree with EVERYTHING Benny claims about himself, because I DONT. (he claims he can know something intimate about someone by the Spirit, but I know by personal experience with him that this is not true). However, I went to one of his conferences once and witnessed people going up to give testimony to their healing that they claimed they had just recieved by the moving of G-d's Holy Spirit. A couple of the people who went up were sitting next to me that came from far away places to be there! I believe sometimes healing like this truly happens, but it's a person's faith that makes them whole. It also has to do with how a person will choose to live their lives. If a person is joyful, and has no bitterness, they usually fare better than those who aren't joyful or suffer from bitterness in their heart... If a person eats healthfully , excersizes and has good habits, they usually fare better than a person who doesn't do this. Its all about following and trusting what G-d says in His word to do for your physical and spiritual wellbeing and making sure not to trust or follow after anything else. About the money... I hate money... but that's beside the point. I don't really agree with how ministries ask for cirtain amounts, even when they're busting at the seams with wealth... and I don't agree with them offering all this... stuff... because they want to entice you to give by stimulating your desire to please G-d, so you end up buying this book and that book and this video and this tape and trinket and tee shirt and... etc etc etc...but I know that it takes money to run anything in a world like this... where fairness for all is measured in something like money, even a ministry. So I'm not opposed to giving donations for faith-based endeavors, if a person really wants to from their heart, but to give for other reasons?... no. I usually make a point not to give to any of them because of them preaching about it or when they try offering me gifts to get it.

Go through the new testament and count the number of people who were healed without faith. You might be surprised...
